Strandja 2 Fixed Communication System
Stationary Communication Information System of the Bulgarian Army "Strandja 2"
Стационарната комуникационна информационна система (СКИС) на Българската армия „Странджа 2“ е разработена по изискване на МО за изграждане на многофункционална, надеждна, резервирана, комуникационно-информационна система. Основните ѝ задачи са, да създаде автономност на Българската армия от външни доставчици на телекомуникационни услуги и да създаде групови канали за свръзка на отделните комуникационно-информационни възли. „Странджа 2“ представлява комуникационният гръбнак на видовете въоръжени сили на Българската Армия.

Development, expansion and modernization of communications for BA
CIS Complex RKIV/ROKV
The RKIV/ROKV complex was designed and manufactured by "Electron Progress" EAD as part of the project for the development and expansion of the Fixed Communication System (SCS) of the Bulgarian Armed Forces. The complex allows the construction of command posts and tactical operational centers, providing high-speed information and voice services.

Coastal radar system for the control of shipping and maritime border protection "Ekran"
Radar system "Ekran"
A coastal radar system for the control of shipping and maritime border protection, called "Ekran", allows monitoring of Bulgarian territorial waters and part of the
economic zone, providing information in real time. The "Ekran" system has the technical ability to connect with related shipping control systems, with other systems of national institutions, uniting them into a single national security system. The system includes five new surface surveillance radars of the company "GEM", modern receivers for the Automated Identification System (AIS), modern electro-optical systems for day/night vision ("Filir"), tactical HF/VHF communication systems ("L3Harris") and radio relay stations ("Aviat"). The system allows the "EKRAN" sites to communicate with the Bulgarian Navy, using the "Strandja" communication system built for the Ministry of Defense.

National Emergency Call Center 112
Single European emergency number 112
The introduction of the Single European Emergency Call Number (SECN) 112 is a commitment made by Bulgaria in connection with its accession to the EU. The Siemens - Electron Progress consortium has successfully built a Regional Emergency Call Center. (SECN) 112 is a high-tech system that provides fast and free access to all emergency response services. The system optimizes response time and improves coordination between different services. SECN is accessible from anywhere in the country.

The renovation of the new National Assembly includes a complete modernization of the hall and the integration of the latest generation of technologies, guaranteeing security and reliability in the daily operation of the building.

Military Command Center for Crisis Management
Military Command Center
"Electron Progress" EAD has successfully built a Military Command Center (MCC) for crisis management of a military and non-military nature. It provides an opportunity to monitor the situation in real time, maintains a database of internal and external resources related to the operation and management of the system. It ensures the functioning of a "virtual command center" before and during a crisis (including early warning and notification). It carries out calculations to predict the development of certain processes before and during the crisis. The MCC CIS provides workplaces on the territory of the center for the President, the Prime Minister, as well as for representatives of ministries and departments, necessary for the performance of their functional duties. Continuous monitoring of hardware, software and network resources is carried out. The system is open, which provides an opportunity to integrate components of external, similar in purpose and functionality systems, as well as its components to be integrated into such external systems.

Development on the methodology
Disasters and accidents
The project consists of two parts.
- Part 1 – Analysis of existing information systems included in the national monitoring, early warning and notification system.
- Part 2 – Development of a methodology for creating protection and disaster plans and a critical infrastructure assessment system at the municipal level.

ESM-NMDA
The Electronic Communications Network /ECN/ and the National Network of State Administration /NMDA/ provide the communication infrastructure through which activities are carried out to provide digital transmission for the needs of state institutions. The decision to integrate them was taken back in September 2010, and the project was implemented by Electron Progress and several other companies, all market leaders in the field of communication and information systems.
